NCRC signed a Letter of Agreement with Obun2
In March 2024, NCRC signed a Letter of Agreement (LOA) with Obun2, marking a significant step toward strengthening evidence-based collaboration on advancing child rights in Pakistan. Through this agreement, both institutions committed to working closely on research, policy analysis, and thematic initiatives designed to inform and support child-focused programmes and advocacy efforts across the country. This agreement aims to foster research-based collaboration. It is agreed to develop a cutting-edge digital portal dedicated to child rights in Pakistan to enhance awareness and understanding of child rights by providing accessible, reliable, and up-to-date information to all.

Obun2 brings to the table specialist expertise in knowledge management and child rights data analytics, aligning with NCRC’s mandate to monitor and promote the rights of children under Pakistan’s National Commission on the Rights of Child Act, 2017. Through the collaboration, Obun2 contributes technical research support and co-produces multimedia products, policy briefs, situation analyses, and data visualisations—all tailored to strengthen child rights programming and oversight by NCRC.
