Obun2 Featured in Media for Police Training on Child Protection

Obun2 was featured in media coverage of a one-day capacity-building session held at the Khairpur Police Headquarters, aimed at training police officers on human rights and child protection laws.

The session, chaired by renowned humanitarian and master trainer Mr. Iqbal Ahmed Dhahitho, brought together senior police officials including DSP/SDPO City Asadullah Bhatti, P-DSP Khairpur Mir Muhammad Dayo, Lady Inspector Mehnaz Buzdar (In-charge, Women & Child Protection Cell), Inspector Razia Shar, SHOs, investigation officers, and other district officers.

During the session, Mr. Iqbal Ahmed Dhahitho, Barrister Asher Mahar, and Advocate Mohsin Sheikh delivered detailed presentations on human rights legislation, recent legal amendments concerning women and children, and the Domestic Violence Act 2013.

SSP Khairpur Hasan Sardar directed officers to implement the guidance shared during the training and emphasized that such laws are essential for preventing child marriages and protecting vulnerable groups in society. The session concluded with the distribution of certificates among participating officers.
