Obun2 presents Pakistan’s First Comprehensive School Directory: Schoolvisor

In May 2023, Obun2 proudly launched Schoolvisor.org, a first-of-its-kind digital platform offering an extensive and accessible directory of schools across Pakistan. Developed over the course of more than a year, Schoolvisor aims to empower parents, students, and educators with reliable, structured, and comparative information about educational institutions nationwide. With data on over 1,300 schools, the platform marks a major step towards informed school selection and education sector transparency.

Modelled around the concept of Tripadvisor, Schoolvisor allows users to search schools based on city, province, and school type—whether public, private, day, or boarding. One of its standout features is the ability for parents, alumni, and students to leave reviews and share experiences, helping others make better, more informed decisions. This user-generated feedback adds a valuable community perspective to the directory.

Beyond listings, the platform also includes information on cadet colleges, board affiliations, and specialised institutions. Users can also explore educational resources, articles on education policy, and updates on key reforms and access challenges.

With millions of children still out of school, Schoolvisor serves as an important tool in improving school accessibility, parental engagement, and transparency.
